Registered Civil Engineer & Structural Engineer, State of California.
Dr. Vukazich works primarily in the field of earthquake engineering with interests in reduced order dynamic modeling and computer visualization applied to engineering practice and education. Dr. Vukazich has extensive professional experience and has been head structural engineer on many projects in Northern and Southern California, including seismic upgrades of existing buildings and new construction. Current research projects include the use of reduced order models for nonlinear dynamic analysis of structures and development of interactive analysis programs for engineering education.
Dr. Vukazich teaches undergraduate courses in mechanics and design, and graduate courses in finite element analysis and structural dynamics. Dr. Vukazich is a member of the Seismology Committee of the Structural Engineers Association of Northern California and a member of the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute.
