Students, welcome to SJSU's National Student Speech Language Hearing Association ( NSSLHA), our student support network! SJSU NSSLHA - San Jose State University's chapter of the National Student Speech-Language Hearing Association. Learn about our officers and activities on the SJSU NSSLHA website.

NSSLHA is a national organization for undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in the study of speech-language pathology and audiology. It is the only organization of its kind recognized by ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association). NSSLHA was founded in 1972 and has over 18,000 members with local chapters at over 200 universities and colleges. SJSU's chapter was founded in 1977.
Our members are active in fundraising, community service and
organize various educational programs such as guest lecturers,
regional and national conferences. Many
members also belong to other local organizations such as
Speech-Language-Hearing Association) and local chapter
SCCSHA (Santa Clara County
