As many early career hurdles recede in the rear-view mirror, faculty often find themselves a bit at a loss for how to chart the next phase of their work-life. Many faculty are eager to find ways to remain engaged and excited about their work, and curious to explore new ways to make meaningful contributions to the campus and beyond. The Center offers a variety of workshops and informational sessions as well as mini-retreats and individual consultations to assist faculty in planning and managing the middle stages of their careers.
SJSU maintains an institutional membership in the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity (NCFDD). The NCFDD offers a wide range of resources to assist faculty as they move through their stages of their careers.
