Availability of Rooms

Conference rooms in the Health Building (HB) are available:                                    
Monday - Thursday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Satuday & Sunday, Closed

Please review the conference room calendars below prior to submitting the CHHS Reservation Form. 


Adaptors, laptops, and other electronic devices must be provided by user(s). Please keep in mind that the conference rooms are NOT intended to be used for ongoing study groups or class meetings. All approval for the conference room reservations will be based on the discretion of the CHHS Dean's Office. Any special arrangements will need to be directed to Joanne Delamar from the Dean's Office.

  • Conference room reservations are available to SJSU students, faculty, staff and alumni.
  • The purpose of the use for the rooms would include coursework, student organization, faculty instruction, staff meetings, and alumni organization meetings related to SJSU.
  • Requests must be made at least one (1) business day prior to the desired day of use.
  • Room reservations will be cancelled if the reserving party does not check-in within 15 minutes of the reservation time.
  • If you are unable to keep your reservation, please contact Joanne Delamar as soon as possible at 408-924-2932.
  • Upon your exit, please tidy up the room and leave it as you found it.
  • Keep the door locked during use and make sure that the door is locked when you leave.
  • Food and drinks are allowed in the conference rooms. However, all drinks must be in closed containers.
  • HB 202 and 230 are equipped with HDMI cables. You must provide your own adaptor, laptop, or other electronic devices, as needed.
  • HB 202 and 230 are equipped with white boards. You must provide your own dry erase markers, as needed. Do not use regular or permanent markers or pens on the white boards.
  • Please erase white boards before leaving conference room.  All white boards will be erased at the end of every week, if they are not erased.

Reserving a Room

To reserve a conference room, you must complete the online CHHS Reservation Form. Use the calendar located under each room description as reference to see if the date you plan to reserve the room is available prior to completing the reservation form. The submitted form will be received and reviewed by Joanne Delamar in the Dean's Office. A confirmation of the room reservation will be sent to you by Joanne once she has processed your request.

Gaining Access to a Reserved Room

Check in with the Student Success Center receptionist located on the first floor of the Health Building (HB 105). The Student Success Center will unlock the room for you during your reserved time.
