The CME Society at San José State University is striving to develop a stronger support system for emancipated foster youth. A major objective is to create effective working partnerships with agencies and educational institutions within SantaClara County, the greater Bay area and the state.
Established in November of 2005, the mission of the Northern California University Foster Youth Consortium is to provide a forum for post secondary professionals who are involved in providing and creating support programs for current and former foster youth who want to achieve a college education. The consortium encourages inter campus program development, collaboration and is an arena to share information and resources to better serve foster youth.
