Once again, the CME Society is co-hosting the conference with Silicon Valley Children's fund.
This is an opportunity for college administrators to come together with Foster Youth Advocates to Create a Blueprint to help ensure academic success for current and former foster youth. This conference would be beneficial if you are from...
...and seeking to initiate or improve your services to students from or formerly from foster care. Please got to the Silicon Valley Children's Fund Website
for more information on how to register and the agenda for the conference.
The Connect Motivate Educate Society is highlighted in a new publication from Casey Family Programs entitled: Supporting Success: Improving Higher Education Outcomes for Students from Foster Care [pdf]. The Connected by 25 Initiative publication from the Finance Group a brief article entitled: Providing Support for an On-Campus Support Program in a University Budget [pdf], highlights the collaborations and liaison relationship that help the CME Society serve students from foster care within a small budget.
