CREATING A BLUEPRINT CONFERENCE, 2008, OCTOBER 21-23RD AT THE DOUBLETREE HOTEL IN SAN JOSE, CA

Once again, the CME Society is co-hosting the conference with Silicon Valley Children's fund.

This is an opportunity for college administrators to come together with Foster Youth Advocates to Create a Blueprint to help ensure academic success for current and former foster youth. This conference would be beneficial if you are from...

CME Society is mentioned in two publications just out on Foster Care

The Connect Motivate Educate Society is highlighted in a new publication from Casey Family Programs entitled: Supporting Success: Improving Higher Education Outcomes for Students from Foster Care [pdf]. The CME Society is listed as one of four examples of College Support programs for foster youth attending four year colleges.

The Connected by 25 Initiative publication from the Finance Group a brief article entitled: Providing Support for an On-Campus Support Program in a University Budget [pdf], highlights the collaborations and liaison relationship that help the CME Society serve students from foster care within a small budget.

EARLY ACADEMIC PLANNING CAMP

This year's camp hosted 33 foster youth from across the state June 25 through June 28th and was a great success!
