Global Leadership Passport Program
Summary: This unique student opportunity takes advantage of SJSU’s global and cross-cultural co-curricular activities and courses to develop a global mindset and global leadership skills. After participating in courses or workshops that help students assess their skill level, they design a personal development plan. Students earn required passport stamps in global leadership competencies for approved courses, programs, experiences, projects, and e-portfolio reflections.

Faculty-Led Overseas Program (India, Summer 2012)
Summary: Experience a special 3-week, 3-unit summer course in Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of India. Visit leading businesses and non-governmental organizations as part of the learning experience. Participate in weekend field trips to historic sites in Mysore and either Belur or Hampi.

International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition
Summary: Our teams work from January through April to integrate and apply the principles learned in their coursework to make decisions with immediate implications. Participants learn important lessons in the operation decisions and trade-offs involved in running a business, involving teamwork, strategic planning and competitive intelligence. The competition provides a unique opportunity for undergraduates and graduates to learn and apply business skills.

Global Leadership Survival Series
Summary: The series is designed to introduce leadership to new incoming students at the College of Business. Focusing on the development of of personal leadership and efficiency such as personal and professional goals setting, the essence of collaboration and teamwork through the Foresight and Innovation method and digital collaboration tools, and also a panel of recent alumni in the corporate world. The topics they will be discussing are on team leadership in this global era. The series will also provide the next steps to the students towards becoming a global leader through various university programs and student organizations.
