The library has some useful tutorials
Welcome Fall '10 students! Many (but not all) courses at SJSU use an online learning management system (LMS) to post documents, collect assignments, offer quizzes, host discussion boards, and post grades, using the LMS as a supplement to in-class meetings. Over the summer, we officially switched from Blackboard to Desire2Learn (D2L). There is a new username, password, and web address for D2L.
To learn how and where to log in, go to the eCampus website. At the bottom of the Students page you'll find some Student Resources including a Getting Started Quick Start guide link and some guides to the main tools in D2L.
Some important things to keep in mind:
The Learning Assistance Resource Center is designed to assist students in the development of their full academic potential and to motivate them to become self-directed learners. The center provides support services, such as skills assessment, individual or group tutorials, subject advising, learning assistance, summer academic preparation and basic skills development.
The Disability Resource Center (DRC) is a comprehensive center providing both students and employees with accommodations and services. The center works closely with faculty/staff to deliver services and promote access for students with disabilities in the classroom and throughout the campus. The Disabled Employee Assistance Program (DEAP) is a program within DRC that serves employees with disabilities.
