Jim AldersonJim Alderson - Retired CPA and Hospital CFO

Jim Alderson is a retired CPA with an extensive background in health care. After graduating from Montana State University with a degree in accounting, he worked for Arthur Andersen & Co. for three years. This was followed by 10 years in private practice as a CPA, 13 years as a hospital
CFO and 3 years as a health care consultant. He has also served as a compliance officer for three 
                                                            hospitals in Oregon.

Jim has spoken nationwide on health care compliance issues to a wide variety of audiences, including the FBI. His role as a whistleblower in the Columbia/HCA and Quorum Health cases resulted in the biggest health care fraud case in US history. He has been featured in the New York Times, Modern HealthCare, on the BBC and on CBS’s 60 Minutes. He speaks from the heart of his experiences and is a classic example of how one person can make a difference.
