Gary J. Sbona Honors Program
The Gary J. Sbona Honors Program prepares students for working in business by providing them with an opportunity to gain on-the-job experience as part of their coursework. Faculty and students review proposed projects submitted by businesses to scope the project and clarify issues, agree on desired outcomes and then execute the project. Students who successfully complete the Gary J. Sbona Honors Program may be granted a waiver for the GMAT/GRE requirement for the application to the Lucas MBA programs. Sponsoring firms have included Abbott Labs, Applied Materials, Bausch & Lomb, Cisco, Ernst & Young, HP, IBM, Price Waterhouse Coopers, many more businesses from diverse industries, as well as non-profits and government agencies.
