2022 Scholarship Recipients 


Clarence F. & Lyle V. Burmahln Scholarship
Applicants must be graduate or undergraduate students in the College of Business. Preference will be given to students who are involved in campus and community activities. 

Diridon Family Business Leadership Scholarship
Applicants must be upper-division or graduate students enrolled full-time in the College of Business, who have exhibited leadership potential and effort within the College, demonstrated by involvement in activities such as, but not limited to, student organizations or on and off campus activities. 

Maria Lilia Rodriguez Scholarship
Applicants must be College of Business upper division students who are completing their initial baccalaureate program. Recipients will be selected based on significant involvement in student organizations and services. 

Lois and Jesse Reynolds Scholarship
Applicants must be graduate or undergraduate students in the College of Business. Awards will be based on need and academic achievement.

Friends of Jack Holland Scholarship
Applicants must be full-time upper division students in the College of Business who are completing their initial baccalaureate program.  Recipients will be selected for their leadership and involvement in extra-curricular activities on campus, personal achievements and honors and academic merit. 

Silicon Valley Compensation Association Scholarship
Applicants must be students majoring in Human Resources Management in the Collee of Business. 

Friends of Glenn George International Study Scholarship
Applicants must be graduate students in the College of Business enrolled in one of the programs resulting in the award of the Master of Business Administration degree. This scholarship rewards students who are interested in pursuing study abroad.

Applicants must be students in the College of Business.

Alpha Al Sirat - Coates Family Scholarship
Applicants must be seniors in the College of Business who are completing their initial baccalaureate program, and who demonstrate strong scholarship and leadership skills. This is the highest honor given to a graduating undergraduate business student.

Stanley Winvick Memorial - AMD Human Resource Scholarship          Applicants must be Human Resource Management majors in the College of Business with high GPAs, and will be invited to apply in their junior year for this prestigious award. This Scholarship rewards excellence in the SJSU senior honors Human Resources management class, covering the cost of tuition, fees and books during the senior year of a Human Resource Management major.  

Ronald and Patricia VandenBerghe Family Scholarship 
Applicants must be graduate students studying for their Masters of Business Administration, Accounting, Taxation or Real Estate in the College of Business and have a GPA of at least 3.6.

Applicants must be graduate or undergraduate students in the College of Business who are working their way through college.

Donn A. Burch Scholarship
Applicants must be students in the College of Business, enrolled full time (12 units or more) and have a 2.4-3.0 cumulative GPA. Preference will be given to students who are working their way through college. 

CIO Scholarship 
Applicants must be undergraduate students in information technology, computer science, engineering, math and science in the listed priority order. Recipients will be selected by a committee convened by the Director of the School of Information Systems and Technology in the College of Business. The recipients may be incoming freshman, or transfer students with a minimum GPA of 2.5 or high school equivalent. 

T. Kyle Williams Memorial Scholarship
Applicants must be accounting undergraduate students that are members of Beta Alpha Psi, the accounting and finance honors society, maintain a high GPA, and plan a career in public accounting.

Applicants must be marketing students in the College of Business.

John Malcolm Aitken Scholarship                             
Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students in the College of Business, participating in the SJSU Associated Student government, individual class government, honors societies, campus clubs or activities. Preference will be given to those involved in the College of Business student clubs and activities.

Rodney Dale Friedle Scholarship 
Applicants must be students in the College of Business, in good standing with a 3.0 GPA or greater and have financial need.

Elisha N. Thayer Scholarship
Applicants must be undergraduate marketing students in the College of Business, have financial need and be in good standing with an overall GPA of 2.0 or better.

Applicants must be marketing students with a minimum 2.0 GPA, in the College of  Business.

Applicants must be graduate students in the College of Business. 

Carolyn B. Hayes Business Administration Scholarship 
Applicants must be students in the College of Business.

Mary Lou and Glen Guttormsen Scholarship 
Applicants must be students enrolled in the College of Business with a minimum 3.0 grade average, who face challenges in pursuing their degree.

Applicants must be students with majors in the College of Business who are enrolled full time, have a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate a financial need.  This is a full ride scholarship.

Linda F. Morasch Business Scholarship
Applicants must be students in the College of Business, that are actively involved in the Black Student Union or the National Pan-Hellenic Council with a minimum 2.5 GPA.

John and Susan Baird Scholarship
Applicants must be undergraduate students with majors in the College of Business, who are enrolled full time and have a minimum 2.8 GPA. This is a full ride scholarship.

Gary Radine Scholarship
Applicants must be students with majors in the College of Business who are enrolled full-time, demonstrate involvement in the Hispanic community and have a financial need.

Gino and Joan Blefari Scholarship 
Applicants must be students majoring in marketing who are enrolled full-time and in good academic standing in the College of Business.

Max Labs Student Scholarship 
Applicants must be students in good academic standing, majoring in MIS and/or active in the MIS Student Association (MISA). Preference will be given to students who are involved in the Women in Business student organization or similar organization. 

Ichor Systems, Inc. Engineering Scholarship
Applicants must be students in good academic standing, and who demonstrate involvement and participation in the African-American community at large.

Dream Act / First Generation Scholarship
Applicants must be first generation or Dream Act students.

Douglas James Radcliff Scholarship 
Applicants must be students who graduated high school within Santa Clara County with demonstrated financial need, good academic standing, and are majoring in Marketing in the College of Business.

Global Operations Management Scholarship
Applicants must be undergraduate students majoring in global opeations management in the College of Business, who demonstrate high academic achievement and/or show high involvement and leadership in the Global Operations Management Association (GOMA).
