Application Requirements

To apply for the internship, you should have:

  • 3.5 overall SJSU GPA (3.65 GPA in business)

  • Completion of most of the following upper division classes prior to departure: BUS 100W, BUS 130, BUS 140, BUS 160,  BUS 170, and BUS 187. The more you have completed, the stronger your application.

  • Completion of any courses required for specific projects as indicated in the Projects and Requirements for Upcoming Program

  • Valid travel documents. See Passport and Travel Documentation for more information.

Your application must include:

Completed online application form. You will copy/paste into the  form:

1. Essay addressing the following. (approximately 500 words): What is your most significant  
     learning experience at SJSU so far,  what it meant to you, and how has it affected your outlook   
     on your life?
2.  Resume
3. Transcript of grades (unofficial)

If you are NOT a Sbona honors student: one recommendation from a faculty member in your concentration. If you ARE a Sbona honors student, no recommendations are required. 
Letters must be submitted by faculty directly to Mr. DeVincenzi in either hard copy or by email.
