Undergraduate and graduate programs at the Lucas College and Graduate School of Business are accredited by AACSB International . Less than 5% of business programs worldwide have earned this distinguished hallmark of excellence in business education. AACSB standards relate to curriculum, faculty resources, admissions, degree requirements, computer facilities, financial resources and intellectual climate. In addition, the Lucas College and Graduate School of Business is also accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the California State Board of Education.

The College is dedicated to maintaining its accreditation with AACSB International. First accredited by AACSB International in 1967, the college has undertaken a sustained effort to maintain accreditation via continuously improving our programs and college management processes. 

The College will continue to track performance to ensure that we maintain the high standards required of accredited schools. This site will act as an information clearinghouse to ensure efficient communication of accreditation documents relevant to our continuous improvement efforts.

The primary audience of the site includes three groups:

  • The faculty and College Management Team responsible for the creation, management and improvement of the processes designed to strengthen curriculum, develop faculty, improve instruction and enhance intellectual activity.

  • Students, parents, university personnel, California higher education officials, legislators and members of the business community.

  • Advisors and peer review teams representing AACSB International, who are charged with judging the degree to which the College has been responsive to the accreditation standards.
