Made Ya' Look is a new SJSU student organization on campus that emerged from COMM 21 (Performing Self & Society) and the performance studies area in the Communication Studies Department.  Open to all students in any major, Made Ya' Look gives students a forum in which they are able to participate in seemingly spontaneous acts of public improvisation. By staging these acts in public, in a way that seems unplanned, and having the participants seemingly unrelated, we hope to make people look, laugh, and pay attention to the structure of our everyday lives. We strive to, as a group, break the assumed expectations of every day actions through our public performances, test social theories, and produce news ways of building community through performance.
