Budget 08/09

The Governor’s proposed 10% cut in funding to the California State University for 2008-09 will impact San José State University and all Californians. Each year, the CSU graduates nearly 90,000 students into the state workforce. If the legislature does not restore the $386 million in cuts, 10,000 qualified students will not have access to the CSU system and there will be fewer classes available for current students.

The CSU will continue working with the Governor to ensure that funding needs are met, but we need your help. You can make a difference!
