Photos, Videos, Other Imagery

Show your individuality with photos, videos and other imagery. To visually capture this concept in imagery, here are three points of view.

Sample three points of view photots

Power Portraits

Portraits show the individual’s experience and what makes each person unique—which drives impactful storytelling.

Power in Motion

Rather than showing campus buildings, these images focus on the movement of people. They bring the viewer down to the subject’s level, participating with them.

Powerful Place

These aerial images show SJSU at the center of a vibrant city in the heart of Silicon Valley, surrounded by the arts, technology, business, mountains, ocean and blue skies.

Learn how photos, videos and other imagery are part of our overall brand in the SJSU Power Source [PDF].

Need Photography?

The Marketing and Communications team does not have a staff photographer or videographer. SJSU's Media Production has a list of photography services available. We'd also be happy to recommend a freelance or student photographer or videographer

Request photos

We accept requests for photography that are related to creative projects.

If your request is not related to a creative project, please view our library of photos available for download. Photos will be delivered in jpeg format.

Permissions

Photos used online or in print are subject to the following policies:

1. Photos are NOT to be used by any company or organization outside of SJSU without first obtaining permission from Marketing and Communications.

2. All rights are reserved. Photo assets are the copyright of SJSU.

Photo Release Form

If you're taking or using photos at a San Jose State event or activity, you'll need to have all of your subjects fill out a CSU Visual/Audio Image Release form [PDF].
