The Campus E-mail Committee has agreed upon several standards. A summary of the resulting standards are listed below for convenience.
Staff/Faculty Internet Address:
The official campus address standard for staff/faculty is: first.last@sjsu.edu
Additional attributes are added to the name to ensure uniqueness.
Applicant-Student Internet Address Standard:
The official campus address standard for students who are applying for admission to the university is: first.last@applicants.sjsu.edu
Additional attributes are added to the name to ensure uniqueness.
Student Internet Address Standard:
The official campus address standard currently enrolled students is: first.last@students.sjsu.edu
Additional attributes are added to the name to ensure uniqueness.
Alumni Internet Address Standard:
The official campus address standard alumni is: first.last@alumni.sjsu.edu
Additional attributes are added to the name to ensure uniqueness.
Forwarding:
Your official campus internet address can be forwarded to another address. Use the username and password for your official address to log in to the http://webmail.sjsu.edu/forwarding page to update or remove your address forwarding.
