On-Campus Resources
There are several free on-campus resources available to students. These services are included in tuition fees, so students are highly encouraged to take advantage of them. They include such resources as Peer Connections, Writing Center, Career Center, Counseling Services, Disability Resource Center (DRC), MOSAIC Cross Cultural Center and the Online SJSU Resource Center.
Peer Advising
College of Science (CoS) Peer Advisors are students who act as academic coaches and offer support to other students. Their services are free to students and include tutoring, time management skills, developing healthy study skills, advice from other CoS students, questions about advising, and guidance for campus resources.
Tutoring
In addition to Peer Advisor tutoring, we offer direct access to free department tutoring,
including chemistry, math, computer science, and physics.
COSAC tutors are located in DH 213. We prefer that you make appointments, but walk-ins
are also available. CoSAC tutoring schedules are subject to change.
