The Program Outcomes Assessment (POA)
The POA manifests itself in the form of three types of reports: Outcome Assessment Reports (OAR), Course Assessment Reports (CAR), and Task Assessment Reports (TAR). Instructors grade student performances of tasks using the rubric, which describes features of beginning, satisfactory, and exemplary solutions. The numbers of students in each category is recorded in a Task Assessment Report (TAR), which is submitted to the course coordinator.
