MSCS Program Objectives and Outcomes
To build upon the students' undergraduate foundations in computer science and to advance their knowledge in the field
Upon graduation a student should have acquired:
Breadth of knowledge in computer science with course work in at least three of the subject areas Foundations, Architecture, Systems Software, Software Engineering, Specialty.
Depth of knowledge in an advanced topic in computer science, including the ability to carry out original work that builds upon the existing body of knowledge in the field.
To communicate effectively, verbally and written, for the purposes of conveying computer science topics to researchers, practitioners, and to the public.
