Spring 2012 - The Computer Science Department at San Jose State University reached
out to their students in the hopes to create a new webpage to further the experience
of its students.
African American Studies
Spring 2012 - Students help to recreate the African-American Studies webpage. They
worked alongside their client to help make the webpage to their client's expectations.
Spring 2012 - Loves Cupcakes is a local cupcake bakery located in downtown San Jose.
The Computer Science students to help improve their business by giving their webpage
a new look.
Spring 2012 - Good Karma is a vegan eatery located in downtown San Jose. Good Karma
wished to increase their customer base by updating their webpage. The CS100W students
took up this opportunity and created a new webpage for the company.
Spring 2012 - Teske's Germania is a restaurant located near San Jose State University.
Teske's Germania came to the CS100W students in the hopes to receive a new design
for it's webpage. With the help of the CS100W students, that's what the restaurant
Spring 2012 - Workingman's Emporium has been open since 1969 and has dedicated itself
to selling only the best for the workingman. The students from CS100W helped create
a new website for this hard working company.
Science Education Resource Center (SERC)
Spring 2012 - The Science Education Resource Center (SERC) has worked to dedicate
itself to educating other schools about the sciences. The CS100W group that worked
with SERC created a new website for this important educational resource.
Downtown Yoga Shala
Spring 2011 - Downtown Yoga Shala is a yoga studio dedicated to relaxing the mind
during a day of work and stress. The CS100W students worked to fit the client's updates
to the company webpage. They also created a book helping explain the functionality
of Google Analytics™.
The purpose of Technical Writing, CS100W, is to develop advance proficiency in college-level
writing, contemporary research strategies, and methodologies through preparation of
proposals, technical reports, and presentations based on peer-reviewed scholarly research.
