Annual Day of Service

3rd Annual SJSU Day of Service

The San Jose State community is participating in its 3rd annual Day of Service event on May 8, 2009.

This event will bring together students, staff, faculty, families, and community members to enhance the area surrounding SJSU through projects that will take place in local schools, parks, and neighborhoods. Organizers will place volunteers at the community sites based on greatest need.

8:00am - 9:00am Participant Check-in/Welcome Remarks
9:00am - 9:30am Travel to Project Site
9:30am - 1:30pm Service at Community Site
1:30pm - 1:45pm Reflection
1:45pm - 2:15pm Travel back to Campus
2:15pm - 4:30pm BBQ and Celebration
