2nd Annual SJSU Day of ServiceThe San Jose State community is participating in its 2nd annual Day of Service event on Friday, April 25, 2008. This event will bring together students, staff, faculty, families, and community members to enhance the area surrounding SJSU through projects that will take place in local schools, parks, and neighborhoods. Organizers will place volunteers at the community sites based on greatest need. Day of Service Schedule: 8:00 - 9:00 am: Registration and Welcome 9:00 - 9:30 am: Travel to Service Site 9:30 am - 1:30 pm: Service at Community Sites 1:30 - 1:45 pm: Reflection 1:45 - 2:15 pm: Travel back to Campus 2:15 - 4:30 pm: BBQ and Celebration If you have immediate questions or need special accommodations, please contact Claudia Mendivil at cmendivil@union.sjsu.edu.
