Among ROTC’s academics, there are other activities for you to get involved in -- one of them being the Precision Drill Unit (PDU).  This team is aimed for those who want to look sharp out in the field.  They concentrate on four basic events or aspects: Drill and Ceremony, Reveille and Retreat, Color Guard, and Rifle Team.  Training includes vigorous Physical Training & Drilling.  Among all the physical activities involved, they do not exclude the intellectual facet.  One of the major qualifications for PDU is to know your Warrior Knowledge.  You can identify those who have completed PDU training by those who wear the red braid around their left shoulder.
