Biography: Brian Sherin is a co-founder of Environmental & Occupational Risk Management, Inc. (EORM), a nationwide ESH management consulting firm. He is also the founder and President of ESHconnect, Inc., a spin-off of EORM, devoted to providing web-based applications and solutions to manage business risk. Mr. Sherin has twenty one years of experience in safety engineering, safety management, safety training, industrial hygiene, and environmental health and chemistry within the semiconductor, and electronics, and chemical industries. Mr. Sherin has a B.S. in Genetics from the University of California, Davis, Masters Degree in Biology/Toxicology from San José State University and is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP). He is a member of the Board of Directors and on the Academic Committee of the Semiconductor Environmental Safety & Health Association (SESHA), Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI) EHS Committees, and the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE). He was on the Joint Venture Silicon Valley Task Force that led to the implementation of an EHS program within the Engineering and Environmental Studies Departments at San José State. In his spare time, he is a volunteer fire fighter in the Loma Prieta Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department.
