Courses in Anthropology

The Department of Anthropology is pleased to offer a large variety of courses to undergraduates, graduates, and member of the community. Individuals interested in taking our courses who are not San José State students may arrange to participate in some of our classes through the Open University program. Participation may be limited by class size and the permission of the instructor must also be obtained. Graduate courses are not available through Open University. Descriptions of all our courses including those cross-listed with other departments may be found on this website. Fall 2008 courses are posted for your review. We also provide a proposed future course rotation for your convenience in planning.
