Kathleen Hull

Kathleen L. Hull received her Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley, and has worked in archaeology for government agencies, private companies, and academic institutions for more than 20 years. She has participated in and directed archaeological research projects throughout western North America, including work in California, the Great Basin, Columbia Plateau, and northern Plains. Most of her research has been undertaken in the central and southern Sierra Nevada, however, where her recent studies have focused on contact-era native depopulation and the integration of archaeology and native oral tradition.
