Use of Time in Daily Life

Global work requires people to “colonize the clock,” working across time zones. People's work and family lives are subject to particular rhythms.  High tech work has highly compressed and complex rhythms which workers and their families must accommodate.  Juggling diverse tasks and social relations, people are caught in the currents of time.  What strategies do people use to navigate these currents?
