Jeff Myers (b.1977) is currently pursuing a Master's degree at the Eastman School of Music. He has studied composition with Daniel Godfrey, David Liptak, Dan Wyman, Allen Strange and Brian Belet. His music has been performed throughout the United States in concert halls, universities and on various radio programs. He has received awards from ASCAP and BMI, a Yvar Mikhashoff Grant for New Music, a Hanson Orchestral Prize and various other honors. He has participated in summer courses with Leslie Bassett and William Kraft, been an Associate Artist at the Atlantic Center for the Arts where he worked with Bright Sheng, and will be a Tanglewood Fellow during the summer of 2002 where he will work with Steve Mackey. Jeff's Five Parametric Etudes for Disklavier have recently been released on a CD of modern works put out by Capstone Records. His orchestration of Schoenberg's Six Little Piano Pieces, Op.19, is available through Belmont Music Publishers.
