San José State University
Brought to you by
The Environmental Forum
The university-wide Environmental Forum is comprised
of faculty interested in environmental programs at SJSU. Our goals are
to facilitate a broad, interdisciplinary dialog on environmental issues
on campus; to enhance environmental curricula at SJSU; to recruit well-qualified
students to SJSU's environmental programs; to encourage environmental research
and collaborations; and to provide outreach to the community regarding
environmental programs and opportunities.
The last several decades were years of rapidly
expanding environmental enlightenment. Never have humans been so keenly
aware of the complexities of Earthís natural systems: their interconnectedness,
the impact of human activities, and the way these systems shape our daily
lives.
San José State University is proud to offer
a multitude of courses and degree programs that allow you to explore the
many facets of the Earthís environment. Whether you are looking to fulfill
a University General Education Requirement or for a degree in an environment-related
field, chances are you will find a program of study that will meet your
needs.
