The journal "Environmental Management and Health" (EMH), now on its 11th volume, wants to contribute to the on-going debate on sustainability by  focusing on the relationships between environmental management and sustainability, especially the contribution of the former to the latter. In this context, we are inviting colleagues working in the field (be it in teaching, research, as a practitioner or in a company) to contacts us and discuss possible topics for papers which will be the subject of a special issue. Past special issues have dealt with matters such as groundwater use and air pollution modeling, and we now think that a focus on sustainability is appropriate.
