The course will involve a combination of lectures, discussions, and laboratory exercises. You should read the assigned readings prior to the week in which they are discussed. Seven laboratory exercises will develop your knowledge of ArcView and Arc/Info, and prepare you for your final project. Some of the Arc/Info exercises will be based on ESRI's Understanding GIS: The Arc/Info Method

You will complete a GIS project involving constructing or prototyping a geographic information system.
