Description: Geography 195 is an intermediate course in geographic analysis. Emphasis is on the application of quantitative methods to the analysis of data in a geographic information systems context. Analyses are integrated with GIS, with the GIS providing the initial investigation of the data and the presentation of analytical results. Students should already be familiar with both ArcGIS and Excel as preparation for this class.
