Research

Biography
Gus Lease received his B.A. in Music from Morningside College Conservatory of Music in 1945, a Master of Music degree from the University of Colorado in 1946, and a Doctor of Education degree from the University of South Dakota in 1959. He pursued postgraduate work at Indiana University and San Jose State University . Dr. Lease has been an active Director of Music for churches in San Jose , Norman , Oklahoma , Sioux City , Iowa and Boulder , Colorado . He is also an active soloist, performing for NBC, KSJO, KNTV, Kiwanas International, AGE International, political banquets/meetings, and the San Francisco Opera Association.
