The Information Systems Department is part of the Finance and Administrative Program Planning Service Group within the Division of Administration and Finance. The group is responsible for campus administrative application systems in the support of student information, financial, and human resources functions. Interactive voice response and web-based registration and other information systems are also supported.
In July 2001, the CSU Common Management Systems' Financials and Human Resources applications went into production at SJSU. Beginning in early 2002, the CMS Student Administration project gets underway with a target completion date of Fall 2003. See the
SJSU CMS Project web site for further information.Information Systems provides application and database support for the CMS HR and Financials applications and is responsible for the ongoing maintenance of legacy student systems and preparatory activities for the implementation of the CMS Student Administration module.
