and other software for classroom management and instruction. Prepare,

Courseware for use in computer assisted instruction in
education; application of appropriate evaluation criteria to selection

Provides knowledge for developing in-depth competencies relating
to elements of instructional design process, personnel working relations,
and measuring instructional program results. Requires practical

Development of web medium. Stresses involvement of user. Location,
evaluation, procurement, physical processing for housing and distribution.

or building level media program. Areas include: teaching use of
center; developing public relations programs; staff involvement
in curriculum development and implementation; staff utilization
in materials distribution, maintenance and control.

Supervised professional administrative and non teaching experiences
in approved cooperating agencies. Student is responsible for planning,
carrying out, and reporting on projects assigned. Includes seminar

to design of graphic instructional materials to improve individual

to design of educational products. Course focuses on filmless, chemicaless

Seminar studies of technological forecasting and decision- making
as applied to problems and issues in education. Students will carry
out project using one or more long-range policy and planning techniques
and consider the implications of alternative possible futures. (Prereq:

Application of instructional design, video production, and computer
theory to the production of instructional interactive video. Emphasis
on production and examination of interactive video instruction (including

Producing videotapes utilizing professional level technology.
Production activities will investigate and employ learning systems
theory. Involves writing a video treatment, scripting, planning,
producing, directing, editing, and evaluating an instructional video
utilizing multiple cameras, video switchers, digital cameras, special
effects generator, character generator, audio mixer and video editor
in a studio environment. (Prereq: EDIT 274 or equiv.) (3 Units.)

Logistics and economics for satellite, ITFS, microwave, fiber-optic,
