  • Gagné's Nine Events of Instruction — IDDE Database of instructional technology topics/theories at Penn State. A most excellent resource for learning more about the Nine Events application to instructional design. Use it for comps prep.

  • Gagné's Conditions of Learning — The Conditions of Learning is the theory in which Gagné introduces the Nine Events. The web site is TIP = Theory Into Practice = Greg Kearsley's excellent database of learning theories and their application to instructional design. An excellent resource for comps prep.

  • Gagné's Nine Events of Instruction: Introduction — application to e-learning environments, but can be applied to traditional learning environments. Article posted by eLearningGuru.com founder, Kevin Kruse.

  • Keller's ARCS Model of Motivation — ARCS can be used as model for designing and sequencing instruction. This overview from John Keller is helpful for understanding the model.
