FALL 2008 Meeting
location: Note: The syllabus contains the most up to date information about the course. The Practicum in Instructional Technology course is the core, applied knowledge course for master's students in instructional technology. The purpose of this internship is to provide a well-planned and supervised experience that integrates the graduate student’s academic preparation into a related, applied work experience in an industrial, business, non-profit, government, or academic environment. During the internship period, the intern is expected to apply academic principles to the solution of practical problems in the various areas of Instructional Technology. This course offers the student professional, administrative, and non-teaching experiences in approved cooperating organizations in business, industry, education, or non-profit sectors. Under supervision, the student is responsible for planning, completing, and reporting on the professional projects assigned by each Host Site. This course includes seminar sessions in addition to the fieldwork assignment. It is recommended that students take this course during the final semester of course work. Students planning to take EDIT 242 should contact Dr. Steven McGriff ONE SEMESTER BEFORE the planned internship. Want to
