Training Methods for Business and Industry
About the Program
This 12 unit certificate program is for you if you are:
    * a trainer in business or industry wishing to qualify for recognized certification
    * a person with career change interest, looking for pertinent skills to lead to a training position
    * majoring in an academic discipline and wanting to complement your skills for effective communication
    * serious about modernizing training skills methods learned some time ago

This specially-tailored certificate program includes required and elective courses. If you wish, your program can be structured to include university credit for your course work, through the Instructional Technology Program. If your plans call for more than the certificate program, you'll find special workshops and seminars or a Master's Degree program available.

EDIT 186 (3 units) Using Instructional Media

EDIT 187 (3 units) Instructional Strategies for Teachers and Trainers

EDIT 226 (3 units) Instructional Design

Elective Courses:

Select one after completing EDIT 186, EDIT 187, and EDIT 226.

EDIT 235 (3 units) Designing for Self-Instruction

EDIT 273 (3 units) Graphic Instructional Resources

EDIT 274 (3 units) Instructional Videotape Recording

EDIT 275 (3 units) Photographic Instructional Resources
