The annotations page is keyed to the Random House hardcover and Vintage softcover editions of The God of Small Things (New York: Random House, 1997). The annotations for most of the first half of the novel were a class project for English 123, World Literature in English, an upper-division undergraduate course at San Jose State University during Fall, 1999.
