History

Founded in 1987, the ISREE is a non-profit organization devoted to the study of business and professional ethics, and matters of social responsibility. Since its inception, the ISREE has sponsored a series of lectures each semester that addresses current business, social, political, and health care issues. The series was begun as an adjunct to classes in Administration of Justice, Business, and Philosophy to encourage and support research by faculty, students, and practitioners on issues of social responsibility broadly, and professional and business ethics more specifically. In addition, the ISREE has sponsored conferences on selected topics, established a working paper series, and provided training and workshop seminars on topical issues in social responsibility.
