Jules Jammal was loved and respected by many, and he returned those feelings to all. He lost his battle with pulmonary hypertension at the young age of 39, but he leaves a legacy that will never be forgotten.
"There is no greater reward than seeing my students achieve their goals upon graduation," says Jules Jammal Lecturer and Alumni of the Animation/Illustration Program at San Jose State University. Having served as a past president of the award winning ShrunkenHeadMan Animation and Illustration club on campus was a stepping stone towards his role as a lecturer of animation. His internship at PDI/DreamWorks gave him the studio experience he was looking for and further solidified his desire to specialize in character animation. With academic studies of animation history at De Anza College, a BFA through San Jose State University, and a Character Animation Degree from AnimationMentor.com, Mr. Jammal was well versed in the field of animation. When he was not in the classroom, he enjoyed splitting his time as a freelance animator and laughing with his wife and young daughter.
