Angel spent her childhood split between two hemispheres, in South Korea and Los Angeles, California. With an innate interest in culture and communication, she went on to receive her BFA in Graphic Design at Rhode Island School of Design. During her academic years, she had a special interest in typography and completed several book projects, which received honorable mentions by her professors. She also studied film-making at the Prague Film School, where she made her first short film, which was selected for the Soho International Film Festival in New York in 2011. Upon moving to San Francisco, Angel was hired by LUX Design to lead a book project, celebrating the anniversary of a leading company in the semiconductor industry. She went on to work on many other branding and design projects for Adidas, Del Monte, Shutterfly, and other bay area companies. Aside from her professional career, Angel has taken on several personal design projects, exhibiting at the Toyko Design Week in 2011 and participating in an independent workshop at Werkplaats Typografie in Arnhem, Netherlands. Her interests lie in exploring the boundaries of graphic design and how it can apply to create new and better experiences in our world.
