Lance Crannell is an Architect, Designer, Artist and Educator. Lance received his undergraduate degree from San Jose State University and his Master of Architecture (M.Arch) degree with distinction from Cal Poly, Pomona. Winner of a number of design awards, Lance was the recipient of the L.T. Shanks Fellowship which provided him with the opportunity to teach design and conduct Architectural research at the National Technical University of Athens in Greece. He is a Licensed Architect as well as a LEED AP (Accredited Professional) and a member of the American Institutes of Architects. Additionally, Lance is an accredited with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
Drawing inspiration from California’s vibrant lifestyle and culture, Lance’s design approach blends this west coast influence with contextually relevant design. Since joining SDG Architects, Lance’s passion for design and attention to detail have contributed to the success of several commercial, civic, restaurant, religious and residential projects. Lance is currently at the helm of SDG’s commercial efforts and oversees SDG’s Digital Media & Graphics Department.
