Sabra Zacharias is an Associate at Auerbach Glasow French in San Francisco.  An award-winning lighting designer with over 15 years of professional experience, her portfolio features museums, educational facilities, commercial office spaces, restaurants, performing arts centers, convention centers, hospital facilities and high end hotels.  Her international experience includes work for distinguished lighting design firms in San Francisco, New York and London, UK, with projects in New York City; Newry, Northern Ireland;  Aprhodite, Cyprus; London, UK; Berkeley and Palo Alto, CA. Her work has been published in LD+A, Mondo, and LUX-UK.

Sabra's professional practice focuses on how space is perceived thru the use of new approaches to energy efficient lighting, and in the use of emerging technologies.  She finds inspiration in the way ever changing natural light transforms the spaces it illuminates. 

Sabra holds a Master of Arts in Lighting Design from Parsons School of Design, and a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Washington State University. While in New York, Sabra has been a guest juror and guest lecturer at Parsons and FIT.
