Steve is co-owner and Principal Architect for Krong Design, Inc. in San Jose.  He has been practicing Architecture in California for over 20 years. His wide-ranging experience has ranged from a $150M+ fast track high tech clean room campus to residential design. Additional project experience includes theaters, retail, historic façade work, office/tenant improvements, restaurant, hotel, and multi-family residential. Steve has extensive experience in public building design, including several San Jose public branch libraries.

As a LEED accredited professional and USGBC member, Steve is well versed in sustainable building design and implementation. He has taught both architecture and interiors at West Valley College and San Jose State University, and has provided presentations for conferences and online learning. Steve comes from a family of teachers, and is enthusiastic about providing high-quality learning environments.

Steve graduated in Architecture from the University of Illinois,  and spent a year in Versailles, France through the Architecture Department’s exchange program.
