Major Advisement
TRC Academic Advisors counsel in general education requirements. All students must meet with a Major Advisor in their area of study to select courses. DRC advisors will then work with students to develop an education plan based on students’ functional limitations and curriculum requirements.

The Business Student Advising Center (BSAC) provides advising services to undergraduate and graduate students in Business.

The Engineering Student Success Center (ESSC) provides advising cervices to undergraduate students in Engineering.

The College of Science Student Advising Center (COSAC) provides advising services to Science Majors and Minors.

Choosing your Major
Choosing a major in college is an important decision, and should not be taken lightly. This decision can be stressful. DRC recommends students take advantage of the vast resources available at SJSU in your major selection.

EDCO 4 - Personal, Academic, and Career Exploration. This 3 unit course will help students with identifying academic and/or career pathways that will be followed to achieve personally defined life goals. It also meets the General Education Area E requirement.
