Educational Sign-Language Interpreter

Candidates for employment as an Educational Sign-Language Interpreter at SJSU must have attended a recognized Interpreter Training Program and pass the SJSU Interpreter evaluation; certification is not required but preferred. 

Educational Real-Time Captioner

Candidates for employment as an Educational Real-Time Captioner at SJSU must have attended a recognized Court Reporting Program and pass the SJSU captioner evaluation and minimally certified at 180 w.p.m
