Dispute Resolution

Informal - Concerns

Employees with disabilities who believe an accommodation oversight may have occurred are encouraged to contact the EARC to speak with a representative for immediate assistance to address their concerns.

Formal - Complaints and Grievances

In compliance with California State University’s (CSU) Systemwide Policy Executive Order 1096 (Revised 10-5-16), employees who believe they have been subjected to discrimination, harassment or retaliation based on a protected characteristic, including disability and medical condition, may seek redress through established University policies and procedures by contacting Human Resources Office for Equal Opportunity and Employee Relations.

Employees represented by the California Faculty Association (CFA) may utilize the grievance procedure outlined in the collective bargaining agreement between the California State University and the California Faculty Association.
