Degree Programs

The Department of Economics administers both undergraduate and masters-level academic programs leading to the B.A., B.S., and M.A. degrees.

Undergraduate

Economics is a general program, flexible enough to allow for a variety of student objectives. The Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees are designed for those who plan to study economics at the graduate level, or to find jobs working as an economist or in closely related fields. Both programs have 20 or more units of open electives.

Graduate

The Department of Economics offers two degree options from which graduate students can choose. Our MA program in Economics is flexible and allows you and your academic advisor to tailor a course of study to fits your need. Our MA program in Applied Economics has less flexibility, but is custom tailored to prepare you for applied careers.
